Hopscotch

Children in rural Punjab play a game by drawing a rectangular field on the ground, which is divided, into blocks to represent fields, rivers, mountains and the ocean. The rest of the space is left in the name of God. In Punjab the game is called Adda-Khadda, which broadly corresponds to the word hopscotch.

I found this form a very unique approach to landscape. The other element that interested me in this game was the movement that a child creates while jumping from one block to another. And this never-ending game I understand to be a metaphor of life and death.
